Pleasing Digital Photography to Enliven Your Home or Business

Welcome to my Gallery of Fine Art Digital Photography with several galleries of different subjects. These include beautiful gardens with close-up digital photography of flowers and even insects. Many landscape pictures show mountain scenes including lakes, rivers, streams, and water falls. There are also over 100 Antique Cars in the Classic Car Gallery, many of a very old vintage. Some of my creations combine more than one photo making the result a creation of art. My photograph of the USA Flag with Fireworks background is an example. These creations use High Resolution digital photography crafted by longtime photographer, Rod Schall, hence comes my business name CAMERA CRAFTS by Schall.

My canvases go through a multi-step process to complete. The specially coated archival canvas is Giclée printed with archival pigmented ink. After the printing, it is allowed to dry for two days and then coated with a Print Shield with a satin finish to allow the texture of the canvas to give the appearance of a fine painting with the detail of a photograph. This special coating contains Ultraviolet Light filters and Stabilizers providing archival protection reducing light damage and resists abrasion and is water resistant. After the coating dries for two days and the canvas is Photo showing the Gallery Wrap of a canvasstretched on wooden strips. The canvas is printed oversized so when it is stretched around the wooden strips, the photo continues around the edges to give a finished look. Framing is not necessary with this Fine Art Museum gallery wrap finish, but framing can be added if Photo showing the back of a stretched canvasdesired. The canvas is wrapped around and stapled to the back so no staples show on the sides. A wire to hang the photograph is provided. To see more details and photos of the process, CLICK HERE.

The digital photography thus created are Giclée (jhee-clay) prints which I personally make with the new technology developed by Epson using UltraChrome Archival Inks and media that have a life of 140 to 200 years when displayed under glass and out of direct sunlight or strong ultraviolet light sources. Canvases without glass will last 100 years. This is the longest lasting photographic process available today.
